Self Destruction

Put down the joint and take a listen to me

You’re the saddest thing that I’ve ever had to see.

Since Jack the whack took the crack to the max

And he hasn’t been around since the age of black.

I don’t know how this happened to you.

I cannot believe this is what it’s come to.

I miss you man, and not the drugs.

You shouldn’t have turned into one of those thugs.

See kids, take a look at him.

Barely moves, can’t even be a kid.

He can’t play the game or rock the beats.

He just sits around dealin’ on the streets.

Jump the fence and you’ll get the sense,

Maybe bring back some of that innocence.

Don’t take the pain, it’s too immense.

You never wanna face that consequence.

Wait, how did it come to this?

You’ll lose your closest friends.

Was it worth it in the end?

Don’t smoke weed, it affects your brain.

Sometimes it makes you go insane.

Just be a good kid, you don’t need that stuff.

You can do much better than a huff and a puff.

With your peers, you don’t have to agree

Just listen to me.

Stay drug free and take some time to think.

WHOA! You just realized

You can do so much with your life.

Think of the future, and after high school

What do you wanna do?

You wanna go to college? Everyone does.

If that’s your plan, then stop the drugs.

They find your stash, you’re on a one way ticket

On your way home now C-Dawg, kick it.

Wait, how did it come to this?

You’ll lose your closest friends.

Was it worth it in the end?

The pain will stay with these substances.

Falling into oblivion

Pure self-destruction

Come back to me, I miss you my friend.

Wait, how did it come to this?

You’ll lose your closest friends.

Was it worth it in the end?

The pain will stay with these substances.

Falling into oblivion

Pure self-destruction

The multi-genre duo, Middletwo, is very eager to promote the prevention of drug-use. The band's Hip-Hop/Techno song "Self Destruction" is a perfect example as it explains the consequences of using drugs and encourages teenagers to stay above them.  Members Tyler Spiegeland and Johnny Costa hope they can continue making music together for the rest of their lives and plan to make a career of it.
