2014 NJSDD Winners Luke Leifken & PJ Walshe Invited to Perform at Peer Leadership Conference

Two winners from 2014 were invited to perform at the Annual Peer Leadership Conference, in Long Branch, hosted by the New Jersey Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, on January 31st. Luke Leifken kicked off the event with his motivating and inspiring song, Take a Stand, followed by PJ Walshe who performed his stirring ballad, Walk Away. This is the 7th year that New Jersey Shout Down Drugs winners performed at this event, which brings together high school students from around the state to learn how to make healthy decisions, especially in the area of drug and alcohol abuse, for themselves and others, and provide specific tools and resources to implement action plans in their communities and schools.
